William Berloni, (Animal Director and Trainer) In 1976 a 19 year old kid went to the pound and adopted a dog for an unknown musical. The musical was ANNIE and the dog was the original Sandy. Mr. Berloni received the 2011 Tony Honor for “dedication to training rescue animals for the stage, with abundant creativity and exemplifying the highest principals of humane behavior”. Throughout his career Mr. Berloni only uses rescue animals. Currently on Broadway: BULLETS OVER BROADWAY and LADY DAY.  Credits include 24 other Broadway shows and hundreds of Off-Broadway, regional theatre, tours, television and movies. Published author of BROADWAY TAILS.  Since 1996 the Director of Animal Behavior at the Humane Society of New York.
